Just me, or does anyone else find it distasteful that MP’s openly scroll through phones whilst in Commons? Particularly this morning when @DavidLammy speaking about ceasefire in Gaza and paying tribute to those who have lost their lives? Poor form @Conservatives

@shitscaredmum These were our chickens. Mildred went first (orange one) then ducky (grey one) within 2 weeks of each other. We think ducky gave up as she missed her friend. They were odd little bodies but very entertaining and their eggs were incredible.

Thoroughly recommend this book. Heartbreaking and gut wrenchingly honest. But also moments of humour and a wonderful determination to live life that we can all learn from Laura, Nicola, Gracie and Mark.

I make this point often but washing machines (and whilst we’re at it dishwashers) are one of the greatest steps forwards in female emancipation. Tackling climate change does not require unpaid household labour, it requires innovation and accountability from oil + gas.
