After the tournament, the used tennis balls, made of rubber and felt, are collected and transformed into cozy shelters by organizations like the British Wildlife Centre.

When I confronted her later, she admitted she’d brought it up during a casual conversation at work. She said everyone was talking about why I took leave, so she simply mentioned I’d gone away for a few days. To her, it was harmless gossip. It's worrying how normal it's become in the UK to work 40+ hours a week and still have no money.
