I love hearing how much of an impact validation and understanding has had on my client’s progression & well-being when they’ve experienced significant trauma. Just sitting beside someone going through distress rather than being solution focussed is all too often undervalued

It's single's day so here's a thing I wish people would understand: being single is most often a choice. So much of society's framing of single ppl paints them as 'unlucky in love' but in my exp they are usually v selective people who know what they want and don't want to settle!

The NHS services are so understaffed of psychological staff that breaks my heart. At one point we had a qualified ClinPsy, CBT therapist, 1 Qualified CAP and 4 trainee CAPS… and we STILL have a long waiting list for psychology 🥲
