On Friday we celebrated our annual Culture Day. It was fantastic day, showcasing the best in CamVC’s cultural diversity and a great opportunity to learn about the different heritages of our students, staff, and wider community. A huge thank you to everyone involved!

Students from our after-school Arabic class have been working on a project, which showcases the traditions and cultures of Arabic-speaking countries. They have produced some incredible pieces of work and we look forward to displaying these as part of our Culture Day on 5th July!
It was great to see our fantastic CamVC and CVC students representing the Cam Academy Trust at the Regional MFL Translation Bee Final in Peterborough on Wednesday last week. Everyone did incredibly well, and we celebrated two finalists for Spanish from CVC! Well done everyone!

Our Cantonese Language Leaders were back at Monkfield Park Primary School last week, delivering more fantastic lessons. The pupils enjoyed learning the Cantonese words for different colours and animals and did a great job of learning to write the characters. Well done everyone!
Yesterday, CamVC hosted the Yr7 Foreign Language Spelling Bee Regional Final for the East of England. Congratulations to the winners and a huge well done to all finalists, the last 47 out of 3746 students who started the competition. And, a big thank you to our Language Leaders!
Our Language Leaders were back at Monkfield Park Primary School this week teaching Spanish to Year 5 and 6 classes. They delivered some exceptional lessons that were really enjoyed by pupils. Well done everyone!

On Monday 4th March, we will be launching our after-school Hong Kong Community Group for CamVC students in Years 7-11. These sessions will run every Monday from 3.15 – 4.15 in the Activities Hall and will be led by Miss Lam.
