God loves me of that I am sure
I am the 1 sheep gone astray yet He came to find me.
Time and again He pulls me back to Himself.
I am in awe of this love that defies description.
Thankful that I am truly and wholly loved by God

My brother, Wahab Jamiu, was among the passengers kidnapped yesterday on their way to the NYSC camp. His live location stopped sharing along the Onitsha-Owerri Road.

Angel of God, my guardian dear,
to whom God’s love commits me here,
ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard, to rule and guide.
Amen. 💛

[AsaGeorge @AdaOlisa_ME]

We need a critical mass of people to boycott this NYSC thing and demand that this thing be brought to an end. If the government can’t guarantee the safety of lives, why should young people continue risking their lives?

You may never see a more beautiful sight than 80,000 young French Catholics chanting the Salve Regina in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary❤️

Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it.
Prone to leave the God I love.

Take my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for Thy courts above! 🎵

[Bukola @hellobukola]

This moved me. I will always stop to sing/listen to the Salve Regina ❤️❤️

Blessed Fulton J. Sheen

Today is a truly historic day for the Church. The Beatification Mass of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen is taking place today, Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the Dome at America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Sheen was one of the best-known Catholic evangelists of the 20th century and a pioneer in proclaiming the Gospel through radio and television. He was most popular in the 1950s and '60s because of his television programme Life Is Worth Living, for which he won an Emmy Award and remarkably high viewership — 30 million viewers a week. How many TV shows have that today?

Pope Benedict XVI declared him Venerable in 2012, while in 2019 Pope Francis approved a miracle attributed to his intercession, clearing the way for his beatification. The miracle involved a baby born without a pulse whose parents prayed to Sheen — and more than an hour after his birth, the boy's pulse picked up. The Vatican certified his full medical recovery as a miracle.

Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, is presiding at the beatification Mass, representing Pope Leo XIV.

Sheen will join just a small number of Americans who have been beatified in the Church, and will be the first bishop elevated in this way.

Which of his books have you read?

Blessed Fulton J. Sheen, pray for us. 🙏

Happy feast day of St. Padre Pio!

[Fr. James A (Faith-Chat Platform) @frjamesa]

Today, on the feast of St. Padre Pio, his simple words may be exactly what someone needs to hear: “Pray, hope, and don’t worry.”

Prayer doesn’t mean everything will change right away. Hope doesn’t mean life will always be easy. It means that even when we can’t see the way forward, we choose to trust that God is with us and still at work.

So today, bring whatever is troubling you to God. Hold on to hope as you wait. And place the things you can’t control in His hands.

St. Padre Pio, pray for us. 🙏🏽
