Yesterday I was lucky enough to see a bullfinch in the garden. Below in the tree on the feeders a brood of green finches with their parents enjoying a morning breakfast of finch seed. The garden was alive so much activity it certainly woke me up and got me in the mood to create.
Now the holiday season is in full swing I have noticed so many more people walking taking in our glorious countryside. Itโs so good for you, a small stroll for some or a big hike for others. I think since the lockdown we seem to appreciate what we have on our doorstep.

Snow alert the first snow on Snowdonia I have seen this winter. Looks beautiful would not want to be up there though. And this is just the start forecast to be -10 tonight, not sure just covering up the outside tap will cut.
My Pickle she cannot see much since birth. She points birds usually facing the wrong way, shout out if she comes your way or there is a collision, the fact she cannot see does not stop her at all she is fearless.

Interesting how we use phases in todays language that relate to customs & practices going back centuries. The term a feather in your cap comes from times of the warrior and hunter. Nowadays the term is generally used referring to success.
