Don’t know where anyone got the idea that I am for or against H1B Visa. The current H1B visa program was signed into law in 1990 by President George H Bush, which was modeled after H1 visa that had been in place since 1952. It has an annual cap of 50k people. But I think we could all agree that there is massive abuse in the program and the trajectory in the absence of serious reform is not sustainable. We must prioritize jobs for American citizens first!

How is teaching skilled trades in high school, community colleges and technical colleges for kids and adults instead of indoctrinating them with Woke ideologies for a blue Texas? There is a dire shortage of skilled workers in Houston, in Texas. 70% of all Texas voters in Nov 2025 voted for prop 1 which giving Texas Technial college system close to $1B. We need to make these programs known to HD 137 residents. The current HD 137 per capita income is 30-40 percent below Harris county average.

I'll fight daily to protect the American Dream that drew my family here from Communist China when I was a teenager. Let's reject division, embrace freedom, and make Texas' beacon of opportunity brighter for all.

This is shameful and dangerous rhetoric from this district's sitting State Representative of our Texas House. I know firsthand how the communist regime divides people—labeling entire groups as oppressors, stoking resentment, and promising power to one side over another. 1/3

That's the present danger in Gene Wu's rhetoric. His remarks echo Communist tactics and has no place in Texas or America—a nation of individual liberty, equal opportunity.  I am running to replace him for this reason and many more.
