Come manage an international fleet of solar inspection operations! Heliolytics is hiring again, we have 3 roles open, but wanted to highlight our Field Operations Manager role. Do you love process and are you great at managing comp…https://t.co/NXYLbFZKbu https://t.co/1vd9eGV4qJ
I'm excited to announce a partnership between @SunSystem_Tech and @heliolytics, leveraging our industry leading aerial analytics with their deep nationwide experience in #solar O&M.
Thanks @SolarKellyP for the article!

My biggest surprise was the decrease in energy expenditure fraction. It looks like big GDP per capita and efficiency increases with low cost renewables coming online. It's a nice change from COP 15 where the choice was GDP or renewables/climate. #ETO2018
My highlights on @DNVGL #ETO2018: - - Still not enough to hit Paris goals
- Gas grows then recedes as renewables grow rapidly
- More investment in power (grid and gen.) than fossils in the next decade
- Energy expenditure % of GDP decreases thru 2050

.@NatBullard, @heliolytics has performed aerial inspections on 15GW of solar projects, at prices less than your in-house drone inspection cost estimates. But we've never used a drone. Maybe a follow up article? Happy to share insights on next gen O&M.https://t.co/KcENTBtibx
Global #energy-related CO2 emissions increased by 1.4% in 2017, after 3 flat years. This tells us that current efforts to combat #climatechange are far from sufficient https://t.co/oSdC42yV6U
Thanks @SolarPowerWorld for the article. This is a great overview of what we do at @heliolytics to optimize operations of #solar facilities https://t.co/DYThqjoVHP
@croselund @Guay_JG @solarfhajr Correct, not even close to worst-case for the domestic market. @GTMresearch predicted that tariffs at this level would have roughly a 10% negative impact on the market over the next four years relative to baseline.
Two interesting implications: 1) Bifacial modules can produce convincing increases in production 2) Hard "bankable" studies proving this are still sparse. What work needs to be done here to prove the value case? https://t.co/k9Gv6OX2Ov
Yes, and: poor design for snow can hurt northern projects. Pros: Cleaning and higher albedo reflection Cons: Small amounts of snow can significantly reduce production, damage from snow weight, frost heave. Thin film and bifacial do best, design systems with room to shed snow. https://t.co/wxHB5mpCou
As the U.S. east coast was covered in snow, we were asked how #SolarPower performs in winter. Answer: Quite well, and NREL-led @ENERGY research consortium continues to explore ways to make them even better! Learn more in a DOE blog post at https://t.co/5LzzvEpUai
