Then where were you when this was in theaters? This barely made its budget back and the theater was almost empty when I saw it. Brilliant film, but don’t larp about this movie just to dunk on The Odyssey
@TheAndrewBriggs He’s a fucking actor in a Greek mythology movie. A stage play would probably make you shit yourself with how diverse its casting can be. You’re too retarded for this subject, bro
@TheAndrewBriggs “In a time of apparent magic” but apparently having an Indian actor can’t suspend your disbelief? The cyclops was totally fine though because they could pass as white at least
@TheAndrewBriggs Nitpicking about race in an adaptation of a Greek mythology poem lmao grow the fuck up. How many Indians do you see in your nightmares to where seeing one in a blockbuster film bothers you so badly?
Maybe people should stop hyper-analyzing tf out of every trailer that ever comes. It’s the reason everyone gets preconceived notions several months before we understand anything
This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days.

I know we probably do get to see him, there’s glimpses in the trailer, but an Egger’s movie with less money would’ve pulled it off and well too. I’m so excited for this movie
Part of me wishes we don’t actually get to see him fully transform. Go full arthouse and have him be in the shadows and be perceived only by the sheer horror on the characters faces. That’s terror. That’s horror.
We cannot consider #AI to be morally neutral. In reality, every technical tool embodies choices and priorities through what it measures, ignores, and optimizes, and how it classifies people and situations. Ethical discernment cannot be limited to asking whether we are using a system for good or bad purposes. It must also examine how that system is designed and what vision of the human person and society is embedded in the data and models that guide it. #MagnificaHumanitas
