@NevenaNikolova7@southeil_agatha@e_fragkos@velopky We don't have anything to hide. My ancestors went VOLUNTARILY to Macedonia from Crete just to kick you out. It's our history, accomplishments and we are proud.
Adding realistic skin texture on the face of the statue of Hercules.
The Farnese Hercules is an ancient statue of Hercules made in the early third century AD and signed by Glykon, who is otherwise unknown; he was an Athenian but he may have worked in Rome. Like many other Ancient Roman sculptures it is a copy or version of a much older Greek original that was well known, in this case a bronze by Lysippos (or one of his circle) that would have been made in the fourth century BC.
According to the Greek philosopher Dicaearchus, Heracles was square-built, muscular, dark (μέλανα), hook-nosed, with brownish-amber eyes and long hair. Pseudo-Apollodorus adds that "his body measured four cubits, and he flashed a gleam of fire from his eyes", while the poet Pindar describes him as "of stature short, but dauntless soul". In art, he is usually shown with short, curly hair, a thick neck, a projecting lower forehead, broad shoulders, and strongly developed arms, chest, and legs, as in the Farnese Hercules

@Sa1ntKnox@biscoticha@grok You narrate this as a tragic event, but even in your text you basically admit that Greeks are behind everything remarkable in your land. Just thank the Greeks for everything you have and stop crying.
@itshoter@HeraldOfRome@MetaxasTopGuy@Kervvvvy Colour labels are dumb. We don't identify as European or White or Asian or Brown. Making fun of skin colour is a projection of inferiority complexes. White Europeans and Turks were barely homo sapiens when brown Greeks were the most advanced people of their time
@Dora_dIstria@philosofveritas@EvaTrifoni The leading author has clarified millions of times to illiterates like you that the genetic study couldn't determine neither the origin of your language nor the formation of Albanian ethnic identity. @philosofveritas reading is completely correct.
@Chigeorge72@makedonien_mk@iosif_lazaridis Don't bother. She knows the truth. I've asked her so many times to disprove the "Greek nationalist theories" and she ends up running away.
Alexander I of Macedon was Indeed a "Philhellene".
Agesilaus of Sparta was called a Philhellene, as are
Plato's ideal leaders of Greek states.
A Philhellene was a Greek Nationalist, who wasn't confined to his regional identity.
Exactly the opposite from what Skopjans think.
@massedonian@BenchDiaries The fact that you lost every debate on history is funny too, but I won't post tweets every hour to show people your inability to defend yourself.
@massedonian@BenchDiaries There is nothing wrong with clarifying misconceptions about my own history. Especially when your country's official historiography is just an attack and distortion of Greek antiquity.
@massedonian@BenchDiaries You know very well that I always reply to your brain dead posts about Greek history. Making fun of a nation won't help the fact that you can't defend your views. It just cures your embarrassment and inferiority complexes.
