It's absolutely fine to publish a quality article with just 400 to 500 words, not going to debate on that, but I always believe, we can make it as detailed as possible, more keywords, more problems solved.
We keep a standard of "1000" (max 1500) words for general articles on our blogs. By default, we don't want to put a word limit like this, but this is what we tell our content writers. I'll manually edit the articles to add relevant keywords and other stuff before publishing. ๐
