@kikimordi As Executive Director of Deaf Women Aloud initiative I personally call her of my sign language interpreter to please take thi serious by ask the school to provide the culprits because we want justice for the girl. the parent said they have left to to God
@kikimordi What worse the matter is that the child parent is neglected the right of deaf girl child I asked them to report it to police and hospital to get evidence.
Today, we start the day with remarks from the President of the Deaf Women Association of Nigeria, Helen Beyioku Alase.
I would like to thank @GlobalRights for taking us into consideration every time. There are barriers affecting people with disabilities. We need to play our roles in ensuring deaf people are carried along. Insecurity has affected deaf people so much and caused loss of lives in the deaf community. For instance, in the areas with insecurity, when there are explosions from bombs and people run, deaf people don't hear. And no one stops to let them know what is happening. This is very sad for us.
Once again, we thank Global Rights for supporting the deaf community and we look forward to more events like this.

how can they afford a pad ?
how many organization did outreach to schools for the deaf, blind etc to provide pad bank?
