@CodeByNZ You're not reading it properly. They want you to list at least 7 years back. It even says what to do if you don't have 7 years. They want you to list your summer jobs etc, university clubs, sports teams etc. and other relevant activities. Use the opportunity to sell yourself.

@mbateman How about: Human nature hasn't changed much. There will always be people trying to recruit workers below market rate because that makes them more money. When people choose not to take the jobs they would rather say "don't want to work" than admit "my business model doesn't work".

@Peuganaut @aryoset @jimalkhalili @ThePoke I stand corrected then. At uni (Chemistry, in UK) we taught to use 'meter' for house style. I assumed that was standard.

Also IUPAC guidelines generally preffered US spelling of sulphur (sulfur) but British spelling of aluminium.
