Proverbs 16:3
I would like to announce my commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at Harper College. First of all none of this would be possible without God. He has had this path laid out for me and he has guided me along the way through all the ups and downs. I would like to thank my parents for everything they have sacrificed for me. I would not be in this position today without them taking off work to take me to the facility, drive me to a tournament, or putting me in the best possible situations for me to succeed in baseball and life. I would also like to thank all of my coaches I've had at Canes over the last 5 years for pushing me to be the best version of myself. Thank you to all of my mentors who have guided through every tough decision over the past few years. Lastly I would like to thank Coach @dmilano224 and Coach @hellgethb for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to join their program. Go Hawks!

We are deeply saddened by the passing of former Major League pitcher Bobby Jenks.
Jenks pitched for the White Sox from 2005 until 2010 and for the Red Sox in 2011. In his time in Chicago, Jenks amassed 173 saves, including back-to-back seasons of 40+ saves in 2006 and 2007. Jenks was named an American League All-Star in both of those seasons.
Jenks was on the mound as the White Sox recorded the final out of the 2005 World Series, which finished off the 4-game sweep of the Houston Astros and secured the franchise’s first World Series championship since 1917.
Jenks was battling adenocarcinoma, a form of stomach cancer. He was 44 years old.
Forever grateful for Bobby and his role in my career. He was a great mentor and leader who touched the lives of so many around him. A Chicago Sports icon and a man who cared deeply about his players and family. Thank you Bobby Jenks, forever in our hearts 💙
