i personally relate to the "liminal" feeling that the characters go through. that feeling like your habits will forever consume you and you are nothing more than the broken memories you can never get out of. its a quiet horror that comes from grieving by yourself
ppl are so surprised at this but i think we’re forgetting that backrooms as a concept is not that well known to ppl who aren’t chronically online. a movie that looks like it’s about a toxic relationship is probably more relatable to the average viewer than internet liminal horror

the irony is that im the "overstimulated" 3rd wheel gay irl for lesbian couples so i guess art doesnt reflect my life. I was even a 4th wheel gay for a lesbian throuple. I have a PHD and masterals at this point
I kind of dislike that trope, it's overdone, sometimes in a mysoginistic way. And I have yet to see to see an annoying lesbian couple with an annoyed 3rd wheel gay
theres a lot of safety and admiration I have towards katya naming the doctors who helped her. having to credit the people in your life through names is a level of respect we take for granted
Hi friends, I’m back out of the hospital. I had to do an emergency abdominal surgery. There was a bowel obstruction in my small intestine. They had to decompress my stomach, flush out of intestines and remove and reattach a small part of my small and large intestine. I was in the hospital with an NG tube down my nose into stomach pumping fluid up and out of my body for 10 days without being able to eat or drink. It was absolute hell on earth. But the tube is gone, I am eating and drinking and am back at home. Thanks to the surgical team at Cedars Sinai especially Dr Matthew Bloom and Dr Sydney Caputo (sp?) and shoutout to Nurse Audrey for being a baller. Hallelujah. 🙏🌈 #pumpitup
‘Noah Schnapp officially takes the crown as the least booked Stranger Things cast member after Natalia Dyer landed a role following four years without any projects’.
I wish peoples bodies were not solely judged on how desirable they were to strangers. the way we feel ownership of others bodies is frankly gross. who cares what anyone else thinks about a strangers body? i’m so sick of these types of conversations, we’ve gone so backwards.
@nick_dosanjo@yokookie_ Not only that but the anime also takes advantage of sound design as well! Theyre both performing to the best of each of their mediums.
Reminder that paramount is a company owned by a zionist. They were against the Film Workers For Palestine and donated $1 million to israel. Don't let nostalgia blind you to spend your money on them
i can't lie, The Boys having a prominent character played by an former IOF soldier deflates any semblance of political critique it could have ever had and imo reduces it back to the snyder-esque superhero slop it's actually mocking, at least partially
