Wife Frustrated That Husband Doesn't Realize She Wants Him To Be Quiet And Also Talk To Her And Also Leave Her Alone And Also Come Talk To Her https://t.co/F8b1Grcxhl
Somewhere out there is a kind-hearted young person reading this who has been tricked into not having children because of some foolishness like climate change or WW3 or kids are too expensive or focus on your career.
Listen to me. It’s not too late.
This is why we are here.
After months of thoughtful conversations, strategic planning, and purposeful design, we're proud to unveil a revitalized Cross & Crown. Our rebrand is more than just a fresh face; it's a reflection of our evolving approach to serving you. 👇

design history @dribbble
Going back there were 4 phases:
1. people used dribbble to share wip with friends.
- this created community
- we liked this
2. then they started posting finished work
- this started gaining attention from people hiring designers
- more good work, more people seeking designers
- we liked this
3. then they wanted to scale everything
- someone had the idea "we could multiply our numbers overnight if we killed invites"
- this oversaturated and devalued the talent and the leads
- we did not like this
4. leads did increase though so they turned their attention to monetizing those
- i cannot say this loud enough......
🗣️ DESIGNERS DO NOT WANT YOU TO TAKE A % OF THEIR HARD EARNED WORK 🗣️
- however, they don't mind paying more for pro if they're getting leads, but this is overlooked
- this is not just this week. this started under zack.
- same story, new ceo
- we did not / do not like this
---
designers used to not have portfolios because they had dribbble...
hiring managers and clients used to come to dribbble because they trusted it as a talent source. that's where we need to get back to.
core monetization focuses that we are ok with and need attention:
- jobs/leads
- pro
- ad
- partnerships
- teams
- agency + enterprise (new)
Every UX designer walking into a cockpit: Clutter!
Every pilot walking into a cockpit: Clarity!
The word "clutter" is terribly overused in the UX/design field, commonly serving as a superficial critique of decoration while often ignoring the design's true context.
Just found out that my friend from college lost her husband in the DC plane crash. 😭
Usually when you hear tragic news stories like this, you don’t expect to know anyone.
But man this hits so hard. 💔
If you can help her family, please donate. https://t.co/bPBXZbmKSx
Sometimes, amazing coincidences happen that are hard to fathom. On my way to the Senate to get sworn in, a Capitol police officer jumped on the train to catch a ride — wearing the name tag Slotkin. Officer Slotkin and I quickly discovered our great-grandfathers were brothers.
King Jesus reigns eternally. The government is on his shoulders. My knee bows to Him only. My vote will be to those who seek his council, to protect the rights of the unborn, and to guard the lives of our children’s future. May we seek peace in our land and with our neighbors. May God’s banner be over all. And above all, my prayer shall be LORD JESUS COME. Yeshua, my deliverer.
