My boyfriend locked the bathroom door while showering. I said, "We've been dating for a year." He said, "It's a habit." I said, "It feels like you're hiding." He said, "It's privacy."
Me: "Why lock it?"
Him: "Because I grew up with six siblings."
Me: "That makes sense."
Him: "It's not about you."
I paused.
I'd made it about me.
Me: "I'm sorry."
Him: "It's okay."
Me: "I just wanted to feel close."
Him: "I know."
He unlocked the door the next time. He said it felt strange, but nice.
A few weeks later, I came home early and found him sitting on the bathroom floor, fully dressed, with the shower running...
I genuinely don’t know how we’re supposed to share a society with people like this. She’s entirely too arrogant and smug for someone so genuinely devoid of decency or intelligence.

People often find it difficult to go beyond surface-level conversations with their talking stage or partners. We get stuck in a loop of the same tired questions. How was your night? Have you eaten? What are your hobbies? And the conversation dies, and we blame the talking stage for being boring, when really, it is the questions that are boring. If you are tired of the regular routine, here are 50 top questions you can ask your talking stage or bring on a date. And for each of the common surface-level questions you might be used to, I have included a better, deeper way to ask it.

90 DAYS WITHOUT POWER, RANKED
You are not leaving.
The roof is fine.
The grid is just gone.
No power, no water pressure, no store deliveries, for 90 days.
In each category we will go from most important to least important.
The categories are ranked too.
The roof is covered, so water comes first, then food, then everything that keeps those two usable.
90 days is what you should be prepared for. Most official lists say 3 to 14 days. Those are minimums, not plans.
WATER
Without it you have days. One gallon per person per day.
90 days is 90 gallons per person. A family of 4 needs 360.
Water filter (a gravity filter is the best buy)
Food grade barrels or water bricks
Unscented bleach to treat stored water
Your water heater tank holds 40 to 50 gallons. Know how to drain it.
Rain collection (check local rules)
FOOD
Rice and beans are the backbone.
If you cannot afford freeze dried meals, load up on rice and beans.
Rice has about 1,650 calories per pound. Dry beans about 1,570.
2,000 calories a day for 90 days is about 110 pounds per person, or four 5 gallon buckets.
Cooking oil, salt, sugar, spices
Peanut butter
Canned meat and vegetables
Powdered milk
Multivitamins
Freeze dried meals if you can afford them
Eat the fridge first, then the freezer, then the pantry.
COOKING AND FUEL
Food you cannot cook is just weight.
Camp stove plus fuel for 90 days
Extra propane or butane
Lighters and matches
One pot with a lid
Never run a stove or heater indoors without ventilation.
HEAT
Cold is the quiet killer.
Wood stove or a safe indoor rated heater
Fuel for it
Wool blankets and sleeping bags rated below your coldest night
Pick one room, close it off, and live in it
Carbon monoxide detector with batteries. Not optional.
SANITATION
This is what ends up killing people in long outages.
5 gallon bucket with a toilet seat lid
Heavy trash bags
Kitty litter or sawdust
Bleach
Soap and hand sanitizer
Toilet paper, a lot of it
MEDICAL
Prescriptions. Ask your doctor about a longer supply.
First aid kit
Pain and stomach relief
Any glasses or contacts, plus a spare pair
A printed first aid manual
LIGHT AND POWER
Headlamps and lanterns
Batteries, rotated
Solar panel with a power bank
A generator is a bonus, not a plan. Fuel goes bad and it is loud.
INFORMATION, CASH AND NEIGHBORS
Cards stop working when the power does.
Battery or crank radio
Cash in small bills, silver and gold if you have it
Paper copies of IDs and contacts
Know your neighbors. Trade skills, not just supplies.
MORALE
Books, cards, games, something for the kids.
Boring beats hungry. Bored beats panicked.
THE FIRST 72 HOURS
Fill the bathtub and every container you own before the water stops.
Fridge and freezer stay shut. A full freezer holds about 48 hours.
Charge everything while you still can.
Cook and eat what will spoil first.
Obviously we could add security and it is important but depending on where you are, what your aloud to have/own I'm not going into great detail on that.
What I can say is have a plan, talk it over with your family, everyone has a job. Don't be afraid to talk to your neighbors you know as well to make sure they are doing their part if you plan on working together.
Feel free to add anything I may have missed. Anything you may think would be of added value for others to read and share.
Book mark this, come back to it, create a check list.
To be clear, I am not a survivalist. This is not survival advice. This is only my setup that I am following with my family. If nothing else maybe just a reminder.
ISO Ledger 🛡
This was outstanding! He made this video for his wife on how he first met her!! They are 23 years strong and this was one of her birthday surprises! This was so adorable and nostalgic . One of the best things you can give someone for their birthday is memories, old and new ones.
Then the league BANNED him and his ENTIRE FAMILY from the field, kicked him OUT of the i9 league ON THE SPOT, AND had the police come to escort him and his entire family away.
MIND YOU the other kids were 2-3 years OLDER THAN HIM!!
JD Vance’s mother was a raging addict and didn’t lose custody of her children until she drove a car 100 miles an hour and threatened to kill them all.
He knows exactly how bad the abuse that Dr. Amy Acton suffered as a child had to be in order for her to have been removed.
JD Vance’s support of Vivek Ramaswamy’s heinous ad to discredit Dr. Amy Adam’s abuse should haunt him.
He’s a sick & demented monster.
Husband is sleeping next to me. Has been for over an hour.
I look at him and think "he's so cute... he is the most handsome cutest th-" and he OPENS HIS EYES. We startled each other.
I said "sorry! I just looked at you"
He mumbled "I heard your brain" and rolled over. Still asleep.
The sealing ordinance comes with telepathy. That poor man has to listen to me yap when he's awake AND asleep.
Anytime I remember this, I feel it all over again.
Norm Macdonald told Keke Palmer she was breathtaking, then spent the next two minutes behaving like a man who had forgotten how to be a normal human being.
Conan was not going to let him get away with it.
⚠️ Last week, a stranger tried to hijack my phone number.
Using MY OWN VOICE.
Google, Meta, and now Anthropic + OpenAI spent years collecting the data required.
So I made a guide to expose and shut down 75%+ of their tracking techniques for your personal privacy 👇
Bullshit, guests were already cleaning AND getting charged the cleaning fee. So now you lose guests to hotels, rightfully so, if y’all up charge goes crazy like you say. For bigger parties you willingly pay the cleaning fee as convenience. This post is just mindfucking yourself.
Removed all of the samsung spyware from my TV with Codex (Claude refused to root the tv lol)
It's insane how much bloat samsung packs into their TVs to track you and sell your data. Here's just some of what I turned off that made my tv 3x faster:
- screenshot your screen a few times a second to see what you're streaming and fingerprint you to sell your data
- reading your hdmi inputs to do the same thing while you have a game console plugged in
- Voice assistants: Bixby wake-word detectors listening and tracking what you say in your house
Before and after speed of my TV:
