I can’t believe it! I managed to deliver 2 out of 10 sketchbooks to Year 10 pupils before my car broke down!!!!! And then was late home to start off my period 5 remote learning.

My 2021 goal is to build up my art books collection. My mentor has leant me some from her amazing collection and it’s the inspiration I needed.

I feel very saddened by the realisation that I won’t be teaching in the classroom at my first placement school ever again. Now it is more important than ever to put my all into giving the students what they deserve and make it count!

I have passed my first PGCE assignment and made it to the end of term in one piece (just about!) and I couldn’t be prouder of what I’ve achieved whilst facing the hardest of times behind closed doors. Teaching is tough but these past few months have proved it’s definitely for me
