I can't even scroll past the first page of X before I feel the brainrot happening. Even 10 minutes per week is too much on this platform. I miss old Twitter times but happy to be able to follow many game devs and other favorites on Mastodon and Bluesky instead.

TIL that color-space support for video is broken in Chrome and has been a known bug for over 10 years (crbug 41233478.) Safari is of course correct.

@JaqubAjmal @IntronDepot I still have a lot of old apps on my older phones that were removed from the App Store, including the Mirrors Edge game (which still is pretty awesome btw). So it makes me wonder who decided to remove the existing downloads, if EA didn’t do it for their game.

@JaqubAjmal @IntronDepot Maybe it was Konami that removed it, through a feature that Apple provide? One could also argue that PS1 games don’t work on PS5, and it’s fair to say that a 2009 Iphone is not the same as a 2026 phone either.

@KevinMcCurdy @susansawesome The graces might be nothing, but it’s against the rules. The stones might be heavy but they are extremely sensitive to any kind of touch. The rules exist to make it fair. We should play fair. If the rules are too hard to follow, then they could change. Maybe not this week.

@KevinMcCurdy @susansawesome It’s been an issue for a very long time. Specific players are well known for doing it. And there have been many complaints before. Because it’s the Olympics, the biggest event, and it kept happening, a complaint was made with video support.
