Passionated about the internet and web design since young, Farida found the perfect way to pave her own path into #tech: learning how to #code 🚀 Today, she is a UX designer at @KolmeoHQ!

Our team won pitch night carried through by Mel's unwavering passion and won funding and support for her idea! It was love at first team-bonding exercise, literally leveraging existing structures to win the marshmallow challenge (yeah - I'm sure there’s a metaphor in there)
I’ve veered off the #100DaysofCode tarmac and have gone fully #OffRoad for many exciting life reasons, but most recently for the @GiTAustralia bootcamp held over the weekend! Such an empowering and jam-packed few days full of ladies that Kick Ass. I have endless gratitude <3
I've been chipping away on this project off and on for about a year (while learning React).
Introducing: WhoCanUse, a tool that shows who really is affected by your colour combinations https://t.co/C6zXhDVnLz
DAY 16-17: Accidental sabbatical engage - efforts this past week have been spent crafting a front end for an upcoming side project for an online publication (and a bit of hwhetting the palette). Detail on typesetting for web has been a priority!

DAY 15: #react wormhole continues; achieved ~time travel~ using slice() to copy altered data, adding keys and referencing them to access every iteration of changed input. The see-saw of comprehension and complete confusion continues! Notes: https://t.co/VyuPWWWUDo
#100DaysOfCode
DAY 14: More #reactjs, finished this super impressive tic-tac-toe game! Discoveries include function components, immutability tactics, the 3rd language I've written a ternary operator in and how good are emojis. Notes: https://t.co/VyuPWWWUDo

"the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog":
-overdone
-juvenile
-has no impact or weight to it
"sphinx of black quartz, judge my vow"
-holy shit
-literally the most metal way to test out your font
-raw as hell
DAY 13: Getting on with #react. Always amazed and annoyed at the cyclical process of learning something v new - every day I crack open a deeper level of understanding from what I learnt(/thought I knew) a day before. Notes: https://t.co/VyuPWWWUDo
#100DaysOfCode#RabbitHoles
DAY 12: Simple one today, dug into my WP roots and developed some functionality using PHP to add a nickname for any employee and call it if it exists. Having such a significant break from #PHP#I#sorta#miss#u. Might revisit after my journey w #react & #rails!

[1/4] Ok this is really funny, check this out.
I was in the process of booking a flight via @OneTravel. Trying to make me book ASAP, they claimed: "38 people are looking at this flight".
Whoa, 38 is a lot, I have to hurry up. But first I have to check how they came up with 38 >>
DAY 11: Read about components from a design system POV, resource of the day award: https://t.co/hgiZyV0Hyv (points for #figma)! Also played with some #MDXjs and #storybookjs for some spicy isolated prototyping. Made a start on bbs first Tic-Tac-Toe game ❌⭕️

DAY 10! Dipping a single toe into the redux waters. Learnt about state trees, actions, dispatchers, reducers and the big conversation they’re all having to create a seemingly functional utopia of seen & heard components.
#100daysofcode#react#redux#kindanicebutkindachaos
DAY 9: #componentsconf meetup on reusable web components, rendering and when using libraries can make you a worse dev. Thought about the culture of code, how we interact with it and the stories that it gives us/vice versa. Great night 🍻

DAY 8: Kick-starting my journey with React via glitch's vid series: https://t.co/HXqoW6OQas. Learning file structure & the friendship btwn components, elements and props. From a UI & FE perspective I can see myself having a lot of fun with this!
#100daysofcode#reactjs
DAY 7: Basic Algorithm Scripting on FCC done! Loops, slicing and multidimensional arrays, oh my. Was a good refresher on JS & how to think more machine (while keeping the code as human-friendly as possible).
#100daysofcode#freecodecamp
DAY 6: Mutation algorithm exercise via FCC and learnt a bit more about .indexOf() through a method of sorting via string comparison. Read up a bit on Big-O Notation which is very WTF for me at this juncture, this helped: https://t.co/Nd8tHxmwFX
#100daysofcode#freecodecamp
DAY 5: 2 challenges on 'Basic algorithm scripting' on FCC. 2 more to go! Learnerings incl using .concat() instead of .push() for appending stuff to arrays and the Boolean() function to filter truthy/falsy values. https://t.co/QFPA1bphi2
