Forgive me for breaking character for a moment.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t proud of myself.

Just a quite kid from a town of 400 people in the middle of nowhere Missouri.

Most of my classmates never made it out. So many were pulled under by drugs, alcohol and suicide.

Yet somehow, here I am.

Building something I never thought was possible...until I did it.

And honestly, it still doesn’t make sense. I don’t have the degree. I don’t have the connections. I didn’t have some genius plan.

I wake up most morning wondering, why me? I’ve only ever been slightly above average.

But I had one thing that never let go of me: obsession. Obsession with finding a better way. Obsession with proving everyone wrong.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: obsession can carry you further than talent, luck, or circumstance ever will. It��s the one edge you can control.

So if there’s anyone out there who's convinced they’re nothing special too, know this: you don’t have to be extraordinary. You just have to care enough to keep going long after everyone else has stopped.
