The fixation on JD Vance's wife was the first indication that the online right was becoming untethered from reality.

Nobody in the real world cares about Usha Vance or even really thinks about her. She's a quiet figure in the background who supports her husband, never makes political statements, and does inoffensive things like reading stories to children. Even the left, who invents reasons to hate figures on the right, doesn't really notice her. Objections to Vance based on his wife come down to:

1) "He's a filthy race-traitor who BETRAYED HIS PEEPLE!" (Delusional wignattery. Normal people don't care about "race-mixing." I dare you to make this argument to a normie without coming off as a frothing anti-social creep.)

2) "He's going to flood us with INDIANS!" (First, just because you're a weak bitch who caves to your wife's every demand doesn't mean Vance is. The reality is the opposite: Vance has been vocal in his opposition to Indian visa fraud and is heading a taskforce investigating it. Usha Vance has never once made a public statement supporting mass Indian immigration. Either she agrees with her husband's public stance on the issue, or if she disagrees, Vance ignores her.)

3) "She's an IMMIGRANT! How can someone MARRIED to an IMMIGRANT be trusted to STOP IMMIGRATION!" (Usha Vance is a natural-born American. Trump is married to an immigrant and is the most anti-immigration president we've had since Eisenhower. It's a running joke that the biggest white nationalists/racialists are married/dating nonwhite or Jewish women. Yet Vance is somehow exempt from this rule.)

4) "We can't have a nonwhite woman as First Lady! It's symbolic!" That boat already sailed with the Obamas. Sorry.

There are legitimate reasons to be wary of Vance: his deep connections to "national conservative" weirdos and Catholic integralists, his association with the Retard Right, his stances on American supremacy. His wife is probably the least objectionable thing about him, and every time some retard jaws on about her, he pushes a normal person into the Vance camp.
