For saving Himalayas from complete destruction under the weight of lopsided developmemt policies, i have been talking about a Mountain Development Policy (MDP) based on the principle that not a single tree will be cut without justification.

What has happened in Nepal , in Joshimath, in Uttarakhand, in Himachal Pradesh in past 5 years ( there have been 2500 landslides in Uttarakhand alone in 18 months ), the fast melting glaciers , is all rooted in one sentence - the blind pursuit of development without any consideration for the forces of nature. For example , the tunnels being dug in the Himalayan ranges are one of the biggest threats.

My prescription for averting disaster in the Himalayas & other mountain ranges:

1. Immediate floating of MDP for Himalayan ranges with a strong body under it which would have wide representation in it of experts from the Himalayan States. The Body should have sweeping powers to stop any future development project including building infrastructure if detrimental to environment.

2. Review of the existing projects that are seen as environmentally detrimental to the Himalayan ranges & stopping any one of them that is environmentally totally destructive.

3. The MDP should be extended to all the major mountain ranges of India including, the Western Ghats, the Eastern Ghats, the Aravallis, the Vidhyachal etc.

The ill effects for showing insensitivity to nature in blind pursuit of development can be seen all over the globe from Europe, which is reeling under a heat wave & water crisis, & America to Africa.

The following figures released by nationalist (not Leftist) environmental activist Hiba Khan of @HibaKhan2909 , drawn from credible studies, project the dismal picture of India :

A. On water quality, India is at 120th spot from 122 countries.

B. On Environmental Performance Index, India is at 176th spot from 177 countries.

C. On Unsafe Drinking Water, India stands at 116th spot from 180 nations

The signs are tell-tale. If India doesn’t heed then all its dreams will end in disaster.

Congratulate PM @narendramodi on completing 12 years in office. He introduced politics of good governance in the country. There is not a single sector where his Govt has not registered either 2-fold or many-fold growth since 2014 as compared to preceding 60 yrs. In fact, he is father of several good governance revolutions including :

1. The digital payment revolution that has eliminated the middle men & made India a digital superpower besides helping big time in poverty alleviation.

2. The 24x7 domestic power revolution & taking power to almost every village in the country.

3. The solar power generation revolution which has brought the renewable price at par with thermal power .

4. Removal of Article 370 from J&K that started the process of J&K’s integration with India.

5. Annihilating the Moaist menace
which threatened 100 districts when he took over.

6. Made India a regional defence equipment manufacturing power that now exports defence & air defence equipment to many countries.

7. Made India capable of standing up to China by developing defence infrastructure across the entire 3300-km long Indo-China border.

8. Nal Se Jal programme under Jal Jeevan Mission for taking potable water to every household in the country.

9. International Day of Yoga that has reaffirmed India’s place as global spiritual leader.

10. Construction of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor & Mahakal Lok Corridor (Ujjain) and redeveloping Ayodhya & Kedarnath among many other
Hindu religious places across India.

11. Dismantled the Wahabism inspired terror networks in the country which were thriving during UPA tenure due to various factors including secret patronage they received from elements connected with some UPA sections.

The result: Bomb blasts were a regular occurrence during UPA tenure. The last 12 years have been free from bomb blast menace barring a couple of attacks including the last one in Delhi.

12. Getting G20 to give its membership to African Union, a giant step in fostering the Bharatiya spirit of Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam when most Western nations have seen Africa as an object of material exploitation only, given its natural resouces.

As a journalist who has closely seen his journey both as a BJP party leader & as an administrator since it began in 1987 & as an author who has written two credible books on his governance that also take a critical look , I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

I was eye witness as to how a section of anti-Hindu media wanted the killing of 59 Karsevaks by Muslim mob at Godhra to be forgotten in public memory & the Hindu reaction against it to be remembered in 2002 in order to villainise the then Gujarat CM @narendramodi , @BJP4India
& @RSSorg .

It was my story in @IndiaToday magazine in 2010 that exposed the wrongdoings of Left activists who had tempered with evidence & even raised false Muslim witnesses to trap prominent BJP & RSS leaders.

Great work @Vishnu_Jain1 . Truth has prevailed & a signal sent that the nation can’t be built on the edifice of distorted history. All accused in the case are radical Salafis & followers of Ahle Hadees which is closest to mainstream Wahabism of Saudi Arabia (SA). The most radical SA Wahabis visiting India never fail to visit the Jamiat Ahle Hadees’s Delhi campus in Okhla & Darul Uloom Deoband, headquarter of India biggest Wahabi tanzim.

In Nov 2024 Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al Buaijan, the Imam and Preacher of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, visited New Delhi to address the 35th All India Ahle Hadees Conference & met Maulana Asghar Ali Imam Mahadi Salafi , president of Jamiat Ahle Hadees Hind.

So , if the Maharashtra Govt & Union Govt ( @NIA_India ) are are keen to go to the root of this racket to convert Hindus by exploiting their women then they must interrogate & probe the top leadership of the tanzim including Maulana Ashgar Ali.

Also should be probed the role of activists like advocate Faiz Saiyad of Sambhaji Nagar who are very active in the corporate sector with an ultra-Wahabi vision.

Bharat should also know that terrorist Hafiz Sayeed & his Lashkar e Toiba are followers of Ahle Hadees ideology.

As a keeper of Bharat’s cultural glory & legacy , @rssorg should have avoided inviting controversial actor Ranveer Singh at the Samadhi of PP Dr Hedgewar,  spurred by success of Dhurandhar2  & overlooking his past cultural crimes. His cultural crime list is long . 

I am citing just 3:

1. He did a s€x pill ad in a conservative Hindu setting with American p0rn star Johnny Sins  in 2024, thus indirectly promoting P0rnography. Here is the X handle of Johnny Sins 
( @JohnnySins ).

Even after the restrictions put by GOI on raw p0rnography on X, his X handle shows him cavorting with p0rn actresses.

2. Ranveer appeared nude in a photo shoot for Paper magazine in 2022.

3. He & his wife Deepika Padukone’s publicly admitted in 2023 that they had an open relationship in years before their marriage which allowed them to have relationships outside their love affair.

The question is when Bharat has set a target of becoming a great nation, whether we should promote role models driven by the examples of Maharana Pratap & Ch. Shivaji Maharaj or false celluloid heroes like Ranveer Singh who are good in acting but worse in their personal lives when it comes to Bharat’s true culture & character.

Today’s political & social leaders who see themselves as nationalists just can’t forget the fact that the perverted culture spread by Bollywood stars is one of the chief causes of Bharat’s ongoing cultural downfall, mainly spurred by s€xually perverted AV content being promoted by Bollywood & its proxies.

One good paid film role played by Ranveer Singh or Ranbir kapoor/ ‘ Ranbeef Kapoor’ can’t wash away their past murky record.

The only condition for their acceptance by our nationalist leaders can be an apology by them for their past perversions & an undertaking that they will not perform any perverted role or act in a manner opposed to our cultural values in future.

Otherwise, by giving legitimacy to purveyors of perverted content , the nationalist organisations & leaders are indirectly contributing to the fast falling cultural values in the country the biggest proof of which are the daily crimes happening against women & children provoked by perverted AV content — of which Bollywood & its proxies are the biggest purveyors. 

Actually the nation should feel deeply pained at the sight of the likes of Ranveer Singh paying tribute to PP Dr Hedgewar & PP Shri Guru Golwalkar , national icons of our society’s morals & ethics.

RSS leaders perhaps feel that they are expanding their base by calling popular personalities irrespective of their character. But here comes the main question - while dreaming of making Bharat a Vishwaguru whether we should look at quantity or quality?

At the juncture Bharat needs a Chattrapati Shivaji or a Maharana Pratap or a Jijabai to attain the target it has set for itself.

How can the promotion of the likes of Ranveer Singh or Deepika Padukone help us achieve that target?
