Although I paid the extra money, it is not about the money; it is about the safety and how helpless I felt at that time. Now it is very hard for me to trust Ola Cabs.

When I refused to pay the extra amount, he pressured and intimidated me, even saying he wouldn’t let me leave unless I paid. I felt helpless and unsafe.

I had already paid around ₹750 to settle the matter, but he forced me to pay an additional ₹180.

Imagine a shop called Chandu ki Kulfi, famous for its rich, saffron Kulfi. It brings in fans in droves. Suddenly, people don’t like the kulfi any more. They find it gives them indigestion. Kulfi sales drop. And people are flocking to a new small shop called Chintu ice cream, which is still figuring itself out.
Sales drop for Chandu Kulfi, and from a hundred in a evening it is down to a fifty. Meanwhile, Chintu ice cream sales have gone from five to ten to twenty five in an evening.
What’s worse, people don’t like the Kulfi anymore, and Chandu’s Kulfi is named after it!
Isn’t this a big crisis? Shouldn’t Chandu do something big to fix this?
Instead Chandu’s fans and servants, who have surrounded them say, oh come on, we sold fifty, we are still double of Chintu. Who’s Chintu? We are still great.
