@NWSPortland the NWS forecast for the Corvallis area is showing a wintry mix for Friday night. Is this likely of happening and accumulating some type of winter weather?

@NWSPortland Random question but I heard that to get snow one factor is that cold air needs to come through the gorge into the valley, does that also apply to areas like Corvallis that aren’t that close to the gorge?
