I think we need a national holiday for Zoom hosts that end the meeting immediately to save us all from the awkward lingering that happens as we hunt for the "Leave Meeting" button
Research has shown that we (society) tend to attribute the successes of dominant groups to hard work and their failures to bad luck, whereas we attribute the successes of marginalized folks to luck and their failures due to lack of hard work. Meritocracy is a complete fallacy.
Understanding the problem space and coming up with a creative solution takes time. Don't tell people they're overthinking - they're just trying to solve problems.
