Hello I’m Edden I’m a film photographer currently working on a series based in Downtown Vegas. I have some of my work for sale here: https://t.co/KDWl0fufJu
It does NOT follow instructions even after describing and saying it will not happen next time. It is not helpful making things faster. It means the model changes ur requests intent in favor of “pushing the conversation forward”. “general”: isnt able to provide high level info
@OpenAI GPT5 is broken by design. Things you said were features broke ur product. What you bragged about doing to make it better made it way worse. I highly doubt you can fix this without retraining and tuning another model completely.
Y’all the only X icon I’m going to be pressing is the one where it makes this app delete off my phone. After 15 years on this app. It’s time to say goodbye. ✌️
@thealexker Also it doesn’t take that much effort to find Steve actually talk about AI. He often paraded around “imagine being able to ask the next Aristotle a question because he inputs all that in a computer. “
@thealexker He’s not talking about AI at all. The AI is not a bike for the mind. Bikes can’t decide where to go on their own. We decide where to take them. AI not only decides how/where to take you but will influence humans and destroy anything it’s path to reach that objective.
@DruePhoto Adding in this in because people haven’t mentioned it and it’s overlooked: you need to be printing on this thing once a week at minimum or else it’s ink head will dry out or clog. So you need to justify the cost to be printing so often / worry about it if you travel a lot.
@reallyrichy_ Don’t have the files on my phone right now but working on a Downtown Las Vegas project now https://t.co/wsejHmSGH8 or https://t.co/bWViEyLB52
Alright I got multiple variants working!! Had to restructure the database and had to figure out how to make sure it knows the correct products ID based on the variants you picked. Also for color variants the labels color is generated based on the colors name 🥳
Updates:
1) manage products/product details pages - just added drag/drop position editing
2) Products w/ variants now show as one card w/ selectable options- need to rewrite database structure & code for multiple variants
3) fixed bugs w/ search & category product lookups

Worked on the CSS/styling. Products now have their images displayed and they are all in boxes nicely in responsive columns based on screen size. Also added a left sidebar nav. It’s all going to change once I design it but it’s at least not bare bones for now.

Added: edit past sales (add/remove existing or new products). User creation/editing with tracking via pin you enter during a sale. Worked on stats for dashboard. Crushed tons of bugs. Made sure all changes to past sales updates changes to order and inventory databases.
I used the users session to store new products while editing a past sale. Also checked to make sure the product was not in the order already and a step that aggregated quantities Vs adding a new line if you added same product again while adding in new products.

My next coding project is a Point Of Sale system. It will be web based in Python/Flask. It will connect to a wifi based payment terminal and integrate with stripe for payment processing. If you use a POS feel free to share features you love or wish it had below! 💰 👨💻 🙏
The past order/sale editing was 16 hours of work. So many conditions to check for and tons of math just to make it work and then update the database w/ new info. Had to code it to swap links in all products, categories, and search result, if ur editing past sale vs. new sale.
Spent the last two days adding sale editing features to the POS. I would get one thing down and it would break the rest. It syncs with the order database but I just need to make sure it’s syncing with the inventory too.
I’ve gotten a few of the backend features done. Product search & browse by category. Cart w/ product removal. Apply cash/percent discounts & tax. Dashboard to show rev/totals via date range or day/week/month. Order & order details pages. Emails receipt.
