Yesterday the Chinese Lightyear Award presented Hello I/O with an award for commercial innovation. Colleagues appreciated the artistic value of our parks and their further application in business.

And the last one is Input server - data processing from depth cameras: filtering, tracking and stabilization for a clear positioning of visitors in space.
Due to our own developments and the stable operation of all systems, we get a perfectly working large-scale installation.

In the previous post, we talked about the difficulties of working with large-scale projections and getting a HQ installation. On the video you can see how the installation works after setting up the equipment.
To do this, we used our own developments and the work of 3 servers #AV

The First is render server - on which content is rendered in real time
The second is Mapping server - slicing the incoming texture, correcting perspective distortion to stitch 15 projectors into a single projection canvas

To create this interactive zone, we used 15 projectors with a total pixel resolution of 11520x2160. Soon we will show you the result and tell you how it was achieved.

Nebula project is a place for meeting with large-scale projections of cosmic nebulae created by spatial modeling of dynamic structures. The installation acts as a visual dialogue and offers the experience of co-presence with the endless starry sky.
