I think one of the biggest reasons I haven’t travelled to countries I’ve never been to in before is because it gives me a lot of anxiety towards the unknown… but i will eventually overcome it right haha

Home: slowly piecing together bit by bit

Holidays: I guess ending 2024 with 5 holidays regardless the distance/ country is still something right?

We’re coming to the end of 2024, Syukur Alhamdulliah everything is slowly falling into place.

Myself: feeling a little better everyday and less worn out, less drained out and better sleep.

Shop: finally settling in with manpower planning and everyday operations.

Family: grateful that I’m starting to be able to at least put aside a day each for both families.

Lack of sleep, headache. Lack of water, headache. Lack of coffee, headache. Never a week without either.

and maybe because I’m getting older and at a different stage in life currently. prolly why I’m starting to feel a little more apologetic, more empathetic, more forgiving, more……. softer?

obviously a lot happened. a lot got lost in translation along the way. a lot of time has passed too. and prolly because life happened and things got busy and outta control and then everything changed and everyone just grew out and up

idky lately I’ve been reminiscing a lot. maybe it was because of the speech I was preparing for. It brought me back to 11 years ago, all the way to today

Moving in without having the kitchen & yard done up but got fridge, built-in oven, microwave, air fryer and washing machine already. How?

A minimal renovation is 2-2.5 months and normal ones are 3-4 months. But honestly, I know if I can sort my thoughts and finalise what I want, I can get it all done in 1 month. Problem is I can’t finalise my own thoughts.

I can’t believe I won’t be touching the bathroom and kitchen this year and be moving in before doing them. But it’s ok because thinking about it is giving me too much stress. I’ll leave it to Jan & Feb to think about those 3 areas.

So much planning to do before October ends??? I need to confirm my electrical & lighting plan before discussing the aircon piping. I need to decide which and buy the lights & fan. I need to decide on my paint palette.

As much as I can’t wait for December to come, it scares the shit out of me that when 2024 comes I’m left with that year before I turning 30 wtf

Even when looking at a shoe rack which can house 30 pairs of shoes, I’m constantly cracking my head thinking which pair I’d have to let go. Cuz it’s supposed to be 30 pairs for 2, not one person
