@Swistle Also, of course follow your artist's guidelines, but moisturizing helps. I had one where they had me use a tattoo-specific balm, one where they named a specific drug store brand, some where they said anything gentle and unscented, and one who said "you know what to do."

@Swistle And I got that one touched up, no problem at all. AND it was an unusual one in the first place. It FEELS very delicate, but they're actually quite hardy. Not that that's TOO comforting until you see it play out, of course.

@gabzoots The variation on this is WILD to me. I had full sedation for mine, and an IUD put in while they were at it. I understand that has its risks, but I ust don't understand why all the options aren't discussed universally.
