A 2025 study found that aspirin reduced aromatase expression and estradiol production in cultured human ovarian granulosa cells.
It acted upstream by inhibiting adenylate cyclase, the enzyme that produces cAMP. The researchers found irreversible, covalent binding to this enzyme, with downstream changes in AKT/mTOR and CREB signaling that reduced aromatase expression.
The effect developed over hours, with estradiol production falling by roughly half after 12–24 hours at 1 µM aspirin.

An editorial tearing into the androgen hypothesis of prostate cancer:
"The evidence against the androgen hypothesis was always obvious to anyone who wished to see: prostate cancer occurs as men age & T declines; prostate cancer never occurs in young men during the peak T years."
FYI so-called "dangerous" high-dose progesterone was successfully used by Dalton to treat post-natal psychosis. No benzo-like withdrawal seizures reported.
Part of becoming well is detaching from the culture that made us sick to begin with.
"...The animal intelligence is always there offering itself and our daily cultural consciousness is distracting us from watching.
I see it like a set of projectors that are working with resources from inner body senses and stored images. The body is projecting possibilities, trying to bring them to your attention for you to work on consciously. But ordinarily, the consciousness that tries to handle those intrinsic body deliveries to your awareness, the consciousness tends to stop the process or deform it.
So I think a kind of passive attitude towards watching what your body is trying to do is similar to watching what ants or birds or other animals are trying to express. Treat your body as if it was a bit of nature and watch what it's trying to tell you to do."

High testosterone in women is a compensatory response to extreme stress. Increased androgens prevent excess sodium loss (occurs during prolonged physiological stress) by promoting reabsorption in the kidneys.
In a meta-analysis covering 141,000 women, Aspirin taken after the breast cancer diagnosis cut deaths from the cancer itself by about 20%.
"a significant reduction in breast cancer-specific mortality was observed (HR: 0.77; 95% CI: 0.63–0.93)."
The reason estrogen is difficult to control is that it arises from injury, and there are a million different injurious things in our environment (e.g., EMF, pollution, bad food, blue light, psychosis-inducing culture of survival, etc.).
Vitamin C (1g/day) lowers cortisol (by 28%) and DHEA-S (by 40%) in chronically stressed women.
The adrenal glands contain a high concentration of vit C to protect against the oxidative stress that occurs during steroidogenesis. Vit C neutralizes ROS produced during hormone production & is depleted under chronic cortisol secretion. We don't know the exact mechanism but repleting vit C helps regulate an overactive adrenal response possibly by improving antioxidant capacity.
On cancer:
"I'm inclined to think that even cancer is largely an endotoxin problem. Chronic, year after year, bad food, irritating the intestine, causing increased histamine and serotonin and estrogen. A constant stream of endotoxin flowing through the system, shaking up chromosomes, creating inflammation, fatiguing the repair systems.
Finally, when the repair systems are down, to a certain extent, the cancers that are constantly popping up stop being removed. And so if you don't die of acute sepsis, then heart disease and cancer, I think, are the result of chronic exposure to the endotoxin."

I have a family member with Parkinson's, diagnosed in 2022
About a year and half ago, as their symptoms continued to progress, they agreed to try some of my "non orthodox" recommendations
Started them on a CO2 inhaler twice a day and 1 hour dry carbon dioxide baths. Symptoms began to noticeably improve and their tremor would completely stop for hours after being in the CO2 suit
Recently added low dose doxycycline (25 mg) morning and night, and recovery has super charged:
- tremor has almost completely disappeared
- speech fluency is back to normal
- facial masking gone
- debilitating reflux in remission (off their ppi's )
- down to the lowest dose l-dopa possible
