Paolo Ardoino (@paoloardoino) talked about QVAC at Plan ₿ Forum (@LuganoPlanB) last week.
Watch him explain how QVAC is built on seven years of Tether technology, why intelligence sovereignty and privacy matter if AI ends up in the hands of a few companies, and why Tether is in a rare position to build QVAC.
And remember: “Not your AI, not your intelligence.”
Piloting my Hiraia AI tutor app with the indigenous Mangyan in Mindoro, Philippines.
It took 5 hours to get to their elementary school at the foot of Mt Halcon, but if we had had an extra day (and a better pair of shoes!) they had another school that was even more remote ... reachable only by foot, six hours hike up the mountain!
HUGE THANKS once again to @tether@qvac@paoloardoino for the research grant that continues to make this work possible, and to @gabusch@YGGAlerts for supplying this batch of mobile devices! ❤️

Finished editing my second @xmrMoneroCat episode entirely from within my own custom-built video editing suite today. The whole thing is web-based, and every production step (script, character design, storyboard, image/video/voice/sfx generation) happens in the same mobile-friendly web space, so theoretically I could produce something right out of my phone.
My biggest problem right now is that cloud-based video generators tend to be overly sensitive to copyrighted material, which means that if one of your characters happened to be a human male dressed as a big green ogre and the other character is a human male dressed as a donkey (it's Halloween, guys, come on!), the generator will just refuse to comply.
So far I've been able to get around it by using community-run platforms, but I guess the eventual final form of this is to build and host my own image and video generator service as well 😅
Second episode out in 12 hours!
@ovoimballin@xmrMoneroCat That was the plan! One episode each week! (That's assuming I can't figure out a more efficient script-to-video pipeline, coz I definitely have more than one story idea each week.)
Here's the first 15 seconds of the new @xmrMoneroCat episode, straight out of my custom-built video editing suite 😅 Full #Halloween episode debuts tomorrow 1PM EST!

This is the future I'm heading off by slowly recreating every tool I use as my own bespoke build.
I'm not a Hollywood-level filmmaker so I need basically 1% of the features of Premiere and maybe 20% of CapCut. So I'll just build that slice using AI and add more features to my custom build as I find new use cases.
The only penalty for getting it wrong is spending a few extra minutes writing a better engineering prompt, and in exchange I reduce my dependence on subscription-based software that is probably going to die off anyway.
I'm planning on doing this with all the software I use, including the operating system, but I'll start with the small stuff and eliminate the subscriptions one at a time.
Claude and ChatGPT plugins are the death of software.
1. Integrate your software into their interface
2. Get everyone used to using it in that way (because it’s a better experience).
3. Eventually cut you out of the equation.
CapCut doesn’t need to exist 😂 It’s an interface for something that doesn’t need an interface anymore.
Lambs to the slaughter. They are going to eat effectively all software this way.
And APIs aren’t going to save everyone.
APIs are just software that computers use.
Finally got around to making a solana:Ez7eEs53hQiXgCGmcbhdX5i1jgg2gC3F6MoeosuVpump PFP using the generator on the site.
Super bullish on this project. Almost a decade of lore and the original artist @helloluis onboard and creating new content daily. Projects like this don't come around often.
Extremely undervalued here. Grab a bag and hold, monero:native ATH soon. Luke will be trading in the millions before you know it
