If you’re out there talking about #LindsayClancy, please look at the #KeishaGolden case. Her trial started today. 50 calls to police for help, nothing. 8 months pregnant and got her head slammed into the kitchen counter, she grabbed a knife and stabbed her abuser IN THE LEG to defend herself, now on trial for murder.
Everyone should be supporting her. She is a nurse and turned down a plea to serve 2 years (if I recall correctly) but then she would lose her license and ability to take care of the babies she was protecting. She has a public defender and could use all the help they can get!
Julie Koehler and Kyan Keenan are her lawyers. I can’t find their handles on here but if you can, tag them please. @CookCoDefender
If Amazon is charging me to rent a 20-year-old movie while I’m already paying for Prime, we should just reopen Blockbuster. I’d rather hand my money to an employee who can judge my life choices to my face.
Why the fuck do the 8 Data Centers in Gary, Indiana have power, and have remained fully powered, when the residents have gone without power and water for the past 12 days???
✋️I know! I know.
BECAUSE DATA CENTERS ACROSS AMERICA ARE OWNED AND OPERATED BY PRIVATE CORPORATIONS.
1. Puerto Rico deserves water.
2. Gary, Indiana deserves electricity.
3. Black people deserve to not be lynched.
4. U.S. Americans deserve food without cyclosporiasis, salmonella, or shards of glass.
This is your friendly reminder that data centers DO NOT actually need water. They need a cooling system and are using water because it’s the cheapest way to do it.
they can hunt you down with ring and flock cameras and find you across state lines if you write free Palestine on a street lamp post, but they can't find who's been hanging Black people from trees in the South
YOU CLEARLY HAVE A SHITTY GOVERNMENT WHEN THE GOVERNMENT BUYS "SHOCK GLOVES" FOR THEIR SECRET POLICE INSTEAD OF FOOD AND SUPPLIES FOR ITS SAILORS WHO HAVE BEEN STUCK ON A SHIP FOR 8 + MONTHS 😒
For those keeping score:
Kristi Noem: out
Pam Bondi: out
Tulsi Gabbard: out
Karoline Leavitt: out
Carrying water for the patriarchy will never earn you a seat at the fucking table.
i just read someone say “historically, men never provided for women, they simply restricted women from providing for themselves” and i haven't stopped thinking about it since.
I'm old enough to remember when Johnson and Johnson removed *every single bottle* of Tylenol off of store shelves because a few bottles were tainted with cyanide, killing 7 people, costing the company $100M.
Taylor Farms need's to do the same and face the consequences.
We can’t have sustainable energy because it threatens the oil industry. We cannot have healthcare because it threatens insurance. We cannot have peace because it threatens the weapons industry. Capitalism built a system where doing the right thing is treated like bad business.
Using flock cameras to watch a man drive from Wisconsin to a Michigan dispensary only to pull him over for possession when he got back home is so interesting to me when an estimated 460,000-600,000 children go missing in the US every year.
Black people don’t hang themselves from trees so high up that a ladder is required to reach them behind a random vacant house in a state with the highest number of lynchings in the country. Tasia Fortune was lynched.
