@low_dosage Dude the beetle kill situation is fucking insane, it's literally like half the forest in spots. I took this pic two years ago yesterday :/ Suppose things will probably get worse before land management starts to improve
@low_dosage As I've been growing up, it feels like swaths of the mountain west have been shifting away from having distinct seasons and are instead either in Dry or Fire mode
@starrymovies I recently found out about this Twilight Zone-esque show hosted by Boris Karloff called The Veil that seems really cool (haven't gotten around to it yet), but whenever I'm sick I like to revisit cozy childhood favs like Ratatouille

I was riding red line trains much of the time I was in Chicago last week. The closest I felt to being unsafe was being from Colorado and having to share a train with all the people leaving Wrigley the night the Rockies beat the Cubs lol
I thought about seeing Disclosure Day or The Furious at an AMC while I'm in Chicago but the Music Box and Gene Siskel theaters were so cool I had to go back to each one for another round
The Shedd Aquarium was amazing! The freshwater exhibits were really cool, I really liked how the Great Lakes section had areas dedicated to invasive species - this goldfish was massive.
Enough with the art house stuff. Enough with Bleak Week. Enough with taking the subway to the theater. I'm watching Resident Evil (2002) on SyFy in my hotel room
