@metamorphi3@AndrewKingsss@gagasteponme This was when Enigma overlapped at the same time in Vegas. She has other stuff to do! She stayed for most of the set.
@gagasteponme I see this blurry ass photo is making the rounds again... I'm pretty sure her face just looked like that because the filler was still setting. π
@gerrygaga28 All the album tracks have 143-level numbers. I also don't understand the continued used of the "R. Katy" nickname when Gaga's the one who actually worked with R. Kelly.
@HarlanFH@miserableflop That's interesting since most of the articles from the last change did not mention any previous use. Was it a more obscure name? I've never heard anyone use it. Either way, I don't understand why they didn't just create a new, fun name if it's for inclusion purposes.
@HarlanFH@miserableflop Only the street was called that, not the neighborhood. It was called New Town. So, ironically, Boystown was closer to the old name. Now the neutral name is being used to sell condos to straight people. Not exactly a win, just more queer erasure.
@HarlanFH@miserableflop The name change was done against residents' wishes. They did a poll where more people voted against it. There's nothing about "Northalsted" that signals inclusion, just more gentrification and easier for realtors to market.
@vypslon@dopefabx They are both throwback acts. Gaga is just better at doing a pastiche of her original sound. MAYHEM is just her selling the Fame Monster/Born This Way sound again.
@popmusicm@headwandastan3@grxndesenigma ...but Gaga had multiple flop eras in a row before we got to this point. It's a career renaissance, not continued success.
