@futuriste123@NHL@Sportsnet@TVASports Yeah 100% agree. 1-16 would be tricky to setup. That's just coming from being a fan of the Capitals and seeing who all made it haha. As for the Carlson trade, you have to take the trade 10/10 times. He's at the end of his road, and getting a 1st and 3rd is a great return.
@futuriste123@NHL@Sportsnet@TVASports Hey, I was pissed my team didn't make it while having more points than 4 of the teams on the West, and 5 if you count finishing ahead of Vegas by regulation wins. Unfortunately, that's how the NHL is.
@futuriste123@NHL@Sportsnet@TVASports We can do "ifs" all day. Avalanche had an easy road as well, but what happened to them? All I hear from Habs fans are excuses. It's a young team, with high potential for the future. Canes were just the better squad, regardless of rest.
@ReshiRed_@NHL@Sportsnet@TVASports Absolutely. I'm speaking about you bashing a finals before it has even started because your team lost lol. No shame in making it to the 3rd round, shit my team didn't even make it lol.
@meensreaaa@pablomariz777@mxtayer@NHL@CanadiensMTL@Canes@NHL_On_TNT@Sportsnet@TVASports They looked the same vs Tampa and Buffalo. They are just getting outworked by a better team and Dobbes isn't standing on his head to bail them out. Get a Stanley Cup and we'll talk about the young dynasty, until then, they are just the 33 year drought Canadiens.
@meensreaaa@pablomariz777@mxtayer@NHL@CanadiensMTL@Canes@NHL_On_TNT@Sportsnet@TVASports The logic makes no sense. No energy, but came out flying in game 1? Did the energy disappear after game 1? Canadiens have been winning with low shots, but that playstyle won't work against a Hurricanes team who shoots from any point and will grind the opposing team down.
