It's been a long slog but finally we have celebrated the grand opening of The Drunken Monkey. Many thanks to @northridingbrew for the barrel and our Brewery Gang for helping us sup it!!
1/2 This evening saw us crafting garlands in preparation for our Hawaiian themed garden party next month.
Notices & events were read out & we welcomed new member Sheila.
2/2 Cocktails & mocktails were served along with savoury nibbles.
The competition for something beginning with "F" was won jointly by Denise & Liz L with Alison 3rd.

2 of our members who have travelled to London with others from North Yorkshire East Federation for the National Annual Meeting tomorrow in The Royal Albert Hall.
A lovely meal at The Builders Arms with 11 others & saw a few blue plaques on route which counts as culture!

Our May meeting was attended by 17 members & 2 guests.
Karen Tunstall took us through a brilliant Zumba Gold session before well earned refreshments were served. The raffle was drawn & competition result announced. 1st place was joint with Helen S & Denise, 2nd place was Sue S.
Foodie Group this month was at The White Horse in Ampleforth.
8 members enjoyed delicious food & sublime desserts in beautiful surroundings.

Tonights meeting was attended by 22 members & 2 visitors.
Member Jane gave a talk on the social history of Helmsley with old snippets of scandal thrown in.
The competition was won jointly by Denise, Jean & Liz L.
The evening ended with raffle & refreshments.
9 ladies recently enjoyed a day in Thirsk.
Starting with coffee & pastries they then headed to The World of James Herriot. A film & interactive area caused a few giggles!
The day ended at Biancos and delicous food.
