Let me give you four numbers. 101. 24. 93. 100. The first is the points Kompany's Burnley accumulated winning the Championship in 2022/23. The second is the points they collected getting relegated from the Premier League the following season. The third is the goals Bayern scored under him winning the Bundesliga in 2024/25. The fourth is the Bundesliga goals Bayern have already scored in 2025/26, with six games still to play. One manager. Four numbers. One of the most unusual managerial careers in modern football.

Most Chelsea fans on this app have zero control over their emotions. Even if we lose after going 50 games unbeaten, you will still see people crying and moaning.

I remember last summer when Maresca came in and was trying all sorts of combinations and the fanbase was in a total meltdown after every game. I mean in fvcking pre-season with a new manager.

As far as this fanbase goes, context does not exist. It's meltdown nonstop whenever we lose, it doesn't matter how many wins before or how we lost. Nobody cares. At times, it's unbearable reading all that, but fans will always be fans. Our own is just the extreme. I don't even understand why.
