Maya wasn’t just a name in a courtroom or a case file💚
She was a loving mother to Tristan, Maylani, and Lara. A devoted daughter, sister, and friend. She had dreams, a beautiful smile, and a life filled with purpose.
Justice for Maya. 💚💜 #JusticeForMaya#WeStandWithMaya
Sitting in court today was definitely draining, but the prosecutor did a great job.
Please continue to keep Maya, her children, family, friends, the jurors, and everyone seeking truth and justice in your prayers. Thank you for continuing to stand with Maya🙏🏼💚🙌🏼

I want to take you all back through the last 5 years of searching for Maya. We walked through difficult terrain, encountered wildlife. Pushed our bodies to the limit & we would do it all over again if it meant bringing her home.

Thank you Jesus, let’s go!
Justice For Maya💚
Today is day 2 of jury selection, so many jurors touched by her story. Maya continues to shine through every story shared, every person moved, and every life impacted. Her light, love, and legacy continue to reach farther than words can explain.
@JWCnSD Praying for that miracle 🙏🏼💚🙌🏼but given the circumstances, very little hope left. You are absolutely right, we will welcome her with open arms 💚
The power of prayer 🙏🏼 is way more powerful than all evil trying to come against us, let’s pray for these individuals 🙏🏼💚🙌🏼. God continues to move mountains, he hears our pleas, let’s not let the negativity stop us 💚.
Therefore, moving forward, our weekly prayer meetings will be PRIVATE. The password will no longer be shared to the public as it has been. Thank you for continually supporting us, and we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you.
-IAmMaya Prayer Group
As the group continues to deal with Maya’s disappearance and her upcoming murder trial, we want to ensure that Maya’s family and supporters can still rely on these prayer meetings for strength and comfort. Therefore, moving forward, our weekly prayer meetings will be PRIVATE.
At today’s prayer meet however, that safety was COMPROMISED. Several people joined the call not to pray or comfort others but to disrupt and cause uneasiness to the rest of the group. It was disrespectful, hurtful, and unwelcome.
Our weekly prayer meetings are to allow friends, families, and the community to spiritually support Maya’s family. By sharing heartfelt prayers and uplifting words with one another, this has been a SAFE PLACE not just for the family, but for everyone who joins us.
