Why do flat tires happen at the worst times???

I literally spent my entire lunch break cleaning Bernie up and getting her comfy again. I left without eating. And boom. Flat. Spent the last 45 mins changing it to the doughnut tire. Ugh. I hate this.

I just got home, I had to walk. My doughnut failed me, flat tire with no help in a town that shuts down at around 5:30. I tried patching it but it’s dark and I have no tools so I started walking. I’m so so tired. Worried about Bern since I’ve been gone so long. Ugh. What a day.
