Yesterday, I was accompanied by my colleagues from the Tenth Assembly on a congratulatory visit to the newly appointed Chief Imam of Ilorin, Fadilatus-Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani, who was appointed by our highly revered Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR.

​In my earlier congratulatory message to the new Chief Imam, I had, on behalf of the Kwara State House of Assembly, wished Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani a long and spiritually rewarding tenure as he steps into the role of his forebears to lead the Emirate’s Muslim community.

Players didn’t trust him, fans protested, and the team collapsed. It wasn’t bad luck he simply wasn’t ready, and La Liga exposed him fast.
