go to churches and ask everyone what they truly want or pray for mostly .
You’ll find out 90% of those problems can be fixed by money, financial stability, access to good job and standard health care or simply security .
developed countries have people who have faith in God, but these ones don’t sit down and wait for God to fix their problems when all they have to do is sit, think, invent, and work.
If truly the growth of a nation, lies in “religion” or faith, China and the likes of other developed countries won’t be where they are.
Your response is kinda taking my tweet out of point btw.
Epidemic of religious psychosis. I believe in God, but He’s not the cause of your problems, or Nigeria’s problem.
If the country worked, the way it should, I bet there will be 90% drop in church attendance. Because the prayer of an average Nigerian is literally what they should have access to by default as a citizen in a working country.
And the funny part is, the average Nigerian is selfish, “once e good for me and my family, i don’t care about any other person”, this very mentality is embedded even in the so called prayers that’s not even working.
Market women praying for the downfall of their enemies, meanwhile it’s just mama nkechi or iya shade who just happens to be selling the same thing you’re selling. Just 2 shops away. Or someone will share testimony where a jamb center failed , and everyone in the center missing results except you, cause apparently you serve a living god. And everyone will cheer instead of questioning the right authorities why a jamb center should still have faulty systems in this current era of technology .
So even if the prayers truly worked, the average Nigerian Christian, is praying not for the collective betterment of the country, they are just praying to be better than their neighbors.
@Xerxesofweb3 It is, but trust people from this part of the world, to take that particular verse to an extreme level.
Because our Bible teaches us that heart of man is evil, let us hope for the downfall, of another innocent person. Who is possibly praying for your own downfall. 😂😂😂
@Xerxesofweb3 Exactly why I put a disclaimer, for you guys that will make it about a specific religion, it’s a people problem, I just didn’t use all other religions cause I don’t practice them, I cant speak for them.
Address the main problem, not the religion
@Blisscyrpt Dyg, prayers are not the solution.
We neeed to collectively do better. As individuals in a society . Look at China, Dubai, these fast developed countries.
@miykun105 Person borrow money from me since January. Till today, Shishii, and e no dey even reply me again.
No matter how sad the story, no fold o. You no go see your money again.
You’re praying to God in church , and you’re here online defending Tinubu’s administration 😂😂😂😂
You can’t speak up, on the atrocities of the country’s leaders, but you mount pulpit every Sunday, to preach Christ.
E murasiiiiii
