COPS HAVE WOMAN ATTACK ACTIVIST AS PLAN TO FRAME HIM - THEN BRAG ABOUT IT ON BODYCAM
ASBURY PARK, NJ
In a disturbing and unprecedented bodycam recording, multiple Asbury Park Police Department officers are captured on video conspiring to carry out a physical assault against well-known police reform advocate and nonprofit leader Randy Thompson, founder of Help Not Handcuffs, Inc.
The footage shows several officers turning their backs in unison as a woman attacks Thompson, in line with a plan just discussed. While the officers look away, Thompson can be heard screaming repeatedly: “Back up, lady! Back up!” — clearly trying to de-escalate the encounter.
KEY QUOTES FROM BODYCAM FOOTAGE
Officer Stephen Love (on camera):
“You want to deal with him” Love points directly at Thompson. The woman responds by saying “I will…you
know I will…turn around….look the other way.”
Later Officer Love details the plan celebrating and laughing: “I was hoping that girl punched him right in his face…..If she would have punched him in his face…I would’ve just been like…that’s why I turned my back….because when she was going to get him…that’s why I turned my back…I didn’t see nothing…and all I would have done….I would’ve turned around when, when he hit her and I would have went over there and locked him up.”
Officer Allen Williams says (on camera):
“I don’t see anything…nope” as he turns around during the planned attack. Then celebrating and laughing with other officers: “Yo, when we all turned…when we all did this (showing his body turning)” Video captures several other officers loudly celebrating in the middle of the street, discussing the planned attack on Thompson.
According to public records the officers on scene were:
Asbury Park Police: Officer Ryan Leahy, Officer Allen Williams, Officer Steve McCarthy, Officer Michael
Hand, Officer Herol Valcin and Officer Rodriguez. NOTE: Officer Stephen Love does not appear on the official police report even though he was clearly present and played an integral part in the attack.
Monmouth County Sheriffs: Officer Pullaro, Officer Kunz, Officer Pesseggio.

More police beating children. The student was grabbed by his hair, had his face slammed into the concrete and then beaten in the face with closed fists from the female officer.
On May 20, 2026, at Fairfield High School, Officer Bianca Brown allegedly used excessive force against student Maurice Williams.
According to his father, the officer:
•Ran up and grabbed Maurice by the hair
•Slammed him to the ground
•Punched him in the face multiple times while he tried to cover himself
•Then dragged him by the hair after he was already handcuffed
The family is demanding answers and justice, especially after learning about a press release they were never informed about.

NEW CAMERA ANGLE OF ASBURY PARK POLICE BEATING BLACK CHILDREN AT PROTEST – PART I
Never-before seen police body worn camera video shows in grievous detail exactly how police attacked two young black children at a protest in Asbury Park, NJ.
The police can be seen aggressively approaching the two black teens - a brother & sister. A cop tells the boy “My man you’d better turn the other way and walk that way” as the boy was complying while walking backwards. While it is not illegal to walk backwards, none-the-less he immediately complies again by turning away from the police and continuing to walk away with his little sister, but the same cop immediately attacks the young black girl.
However, the cops begin battering the young black girl and boy, shoving them with full force. The young boy says “DON’T TOUCH HER!” and the police drag him out of view. The young black girl exclaims “MY BROTHER!” Her agonizing cries can be heard as several fully grown white police men slam her body to the ground and shove her face into the dirt. The brother can be heard in the background calling out to his sister as he is violently arrested.
Their hands bound in chains the siblings call out to each other but are dragged off in different directions. As the young girl is led away the camera captures a view of what appears to be a militarized battalion of soldiers, comprised by several agencies – summoned to the peaceful protest by the notorious Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office – a glimpse of America’s Internal Army otherwise known as the police-state.
It is critical to note that these young black children complied with the commands of the officers but were attacked anyway. A reasonable person can conclude that it did not matter what these children did they were going to be attacked by the police regardless. The brother & sister, both residents of Asbury Park.

Listen in as several Asbury Park Residents at the St. Stephens Manor and Asbury Park Gardens discuss critical issues they feel are behind the hyper-surveillance of their community - including militarized and racist policing, gentrification and general police-perversion to watch people use the bathroom by peering into their windows with the spy-tower.

ASBURY PARK POLICE ARE SPYING AGAIN - MATTISON & PROSPECT AVENUES
Residents have expressed concern that the spy-tower can see them as they are using the bathroom in their own homes - as the tower stands approximately two-stories high.
The Asbury Park Police have placed their spy-tower at Mattison Ave & Prospect Ave. in Asbury Park to spy indiscriminately on anyone who travels through this area. Do you think the Asbury Park Police or other law enforcement should be able to peer into people's homes as they use the bathroom or change clothes?
Sound off in the comments. Also check out this article from the ACLU and a Police Chief discussing police surveillance cameras that were audited and showed that the video surveillance did NOT help fight crime in any measurable way.

PART TWO - POLICE TREAT ASBURY PARK RESIDENTS LIKE INMATES IN A PRISON
After APPD Detective Anthony Troublefield blurted out on camera that essentially the police consider all the residents criminals, we see what was actually going on.
Uniformed Police and undercover officers in plain clothes from several agencies go door to door and detain several households on a made- up story - claiming a person with a warrant ran out of every apartment. Not only is it absurd to allege that a person ran out of multiple apartments at the same time, but even if it were somehow true, the legal relevance is far from clear.
Residents can be heard protesting this unlawful violation and their being harassed simply for being at their own homes……but as already stated by Det. Troublefield……these residents are essentially considered criminals even if they have done nothing wrong.
Asbury Park residents should not have to live in what amounts to an open-air prison.

DETECTIVE’S STATEMENT SHOWS POLICE BELIEF THAT RESIDENTS IN PUBLIC HOUSING ARE ALL CRIMINALS – Asbury Park, NJ
“Everybody knows what these Mother – Fuckers do out here” - Det. Anthony Troublefield
The prejudicial statement Caught on body worn camera video by an Asbury Park Detective derides residents of the Asbury Park Village and assumes residents of the apartment complex are all criminals. This understanding is shown also as the officer whose body worn camera captures the statement - immediately mutes the audio after the comment prompts the other officers to verbalize their support of the stereotype.
The officer making the statement is believed to be Detective Anthony Troublefield of the Asbury Park Police Department. Also identified is Lt. Lorenzo Pettway in the gray shirt – showing that this prejudicial expression will not be addressed by police leadership. If you can positively identify any of the other officers, please contact Help Not Handcuffs or post their names in the comments.
Police in general and in Asbury Park commit significant resources to their public image in order to lull the public into believing they are a beneficent paramilitary group. Events like “Coffee with a Cop” or “Pizza with a Cop” are propaganda to reinforce the false image of police as protectors and caretakers of the community.
It is rare moments like these where groups like Help Not Handcuffs are able to show the public what police really think & feel about certain segments of the community and the harm that police cause.

ARRESTED FOR RESTING DURING A HEATWAVE- ASBURY PARK, NJ
For many The South-West Quadrant of The City of Asbury Park, NJ has become an open-air prison where basic civil and human rights do not exist. In this video we speak with a man who was walking with a woman during an intense heatwave. She felt dizzy and unwell so she sat down in a chair that was nearby outside on Springwood Avenue. That drew a response of at least (6) police who denied her medical care but quickly arrested her.

32 years in prison for growing marijuana.
All drug prohibition is - for any drug - is an excuse for the government to attack Americans and people inside America.

Over a decade ago Help Not Handcuffs, Inc. and other activists led the state in advocating for a Marijuana Legalization Ordinance in The City of Asbury Park. Most significantly, this was done under the staunch prohibitionist regime of Governor Chris Christie who did not even want medical marijuana. #420
