@MarkJCarney This is not the pride flag. It is the progressive hate flag that represents child mutilation and sterilization and this ideology destroyed my family.
@CanadianPolling When you question people on an intangible ideal that has no real tangible metrics that people can clearly use to measure, this is the response.
Feds' @HousingLogement advocate says based on current trends @HICC_Ca will meet affordability target for poorest Canadians in 1,000 years. Not a typo. Thousand years.

Hard no.
We live in Canada. The only heritage month we need is Canadian Heritage month.
What a ridiculous idea. Why would Somalia get a month and not Uganda? Egypt? Brazil? Or every other country then?
Let Somalia have its own heritage month in Somalia.
🇨🇦🇸🇴 Today, I introduced a private member’s bill that would declare July of every year in Canada as Somali Heritage Month!
I’d like to thank MP @HonAhmedHussen for co-sponsoring this bill with me and for his counsel.
I hope that all MPs will support this legislation.
Canada is home to many Canadians of Somali heritage.
Canadians of Somali descent have left and continue to leave a historic mark on Canada, with contributions that span communities across the country and are reflected in Canada’s economic, political, social and cultural life.
If passed, Somali heritage month would give us an opportunity to celebrate that heritage, the role that Canada has played in supporting Somali Canadians and their contributions to Canada.
@AdamZivo I used to work showing suites. I worked with a man from Serbia.
I had just shown a suite to 2 ladies and he came into the office and yelled at me to never show suites to gypsies. I had no idea about gypsies. Just what I saw in movies. He gave me a very eye opening lesson.
Ottawa is courting PRC EV investment. Presumably from BYD. The Pentagon finalized its annual Section 1260H update, designating Alibaba, Baidu, and BYD as "Chinese military companies."
So the firm Canada wants to welcome is one Washington just flagged as having links to the PLA.
MASSIVE CHINESE FOREIGN INTERFERENCE IN CANADA by Nicholas Jordan Wagter
This report provides the requested citations for official intelligence and law enforcement findings regarding Chinese infiltration in Canada, now updated with numbered references. All data is grounded in reports from the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians (NSICOP), and the Hogue Commission.
1. The Hogue Commission Final Report (January 2025)
The Public Inquiry into Foreign Interference, led by Justice Marie-Josée Hogue, released its definitive record in early 2025.
-The Verdict: The report explicitly identified the People’s Republic of China (PRC) as the most active and sophisticated perpetrator of foreign interference.
-Democratic Erosion: It concluded that interference likely impacted specific ridings in the 2019 and 2021 elections.
-Systemic Failure: The inquiry found that while CSIS provided warnings, they were frequently "lost in the flow" of information to the Prime Minister’s Office.

@userbot77728@Averyflash@echipiuk Interesting.
You say that anybody can say anything they want about politics and it doesn't need policing.
Yet here you are policing my comments.
In fact, you are having a similar reaction to my post that I had to the person I replied to yet you have a problem with my comment.
@echipiuk We have Christmas parties where we say Merry Christmas.
Instead of labelling people by their identity group, we should all just be labelled as Canadians.
We should cherish and celebrate our history. We should celebrate innovators and explorers.
@echipiuk I think for us to unite again, we need to live in reality together again. Have a tangible common goal for the future of our country and we have to keep up with our traditions.
Instead of land acknowledgements, we should stand and sing O Canada.
Instead of saying Happy Holidays,
@Kelleta567@Averyflash@echipiuk Maybe read the comment section. Lots of people chose Pierre and also provided their explanation.
The post has nothing to do with the original question. Just hate mongering. I'm so over the hate and divisive game.
