@jjpo43 @nirailways I completely understand that they are keyworkers too and are risking their own and their families health to bring people to and from work. However many keyworkers work shifts not 9-5 so it would be appreciated if this could have been taken into account when reducing the services

@nirailways unfortunately there is nothing his employer will be able to do to help but I appreciate you taking the time to reply and I understand that you don’t personally make the decisions regarding timetables but @Translink_NI never seem to be able to get these decisions right

@nirailways I appreciate you checking but we have already explored the alternative routes etc. and unfortunately there aren’t any. As of Monday my partner will therefore have to pay for a taxi, if they are still running, or not go to work which is not an option as a key worker 😢

@nirailways Lisburn to Moira, he currently gets the 0648 train from Lisburn but first train on Saturday service is 0804

@nirailways I understand why the decision has been made however my partner is a key worker and as of Monday will have no way of getting to work. Surely there should still be early morning trains with reduced services at other times of the day?

@Translink_NI @nirailways With NI Railways operating a Sat service from Mon, surely common sense would mean key workers should still be able to get early morning trains to work which is not viable if running a Sat service e.g. first train from Lisburn to Moira is at 8.04
