Today, we stand up for weddings. We stand up for businesses and couples. We stand to ask for support, for a published plan for safe reopening and for our friends, our colleagues and couples everywhere. We are here and we stand with you. #standupforweddings#whataboutweddings
The Government's treatment of the North West has been a disgrace. It is treating millions of people with contempt.
Tomorrow Labour will force Parliament to vote for a fair deal for communities facing restrictions.

No? I don’t need it either.
@AlokSharma_RDG@BorisJohnson I’ll leave it here for you. You’ll need it after the next election 🗳

No one would argue with putting in place local action to reduce the transmission of coronavirus.
But announcing measures affecting potentially millions of people late at night on Twitter is a new low for the government’s communications during this crisis.
Thank you @RoyalFamily.
I have been overwhelmed by the many honours I have received over the past weeks, but there is simply nothing that can compare to this, I am overwhelmed with pride and joy.

The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has announced from 1st August the beauty services industry can FULLY reopen.
All working hair and beauty professionals MUST still abide by Covid secure guidelines.
@BorisJohnson so face masks are compulsory in shops from 24/7 or £100 fine. So what happens in the shop aka ‘the pub’ or ‘the gym’? We wearing them there too? #doublestandards
@PompeyTim69@carolinenokes@BorisJohnson And that’s underlying my point. And one that I’d like the government to reflect on. It’s never genuinely felt like it has been about saving lives. So the unfairness I feel at the moment is amplified to say the least.
Please email @RishiSunak[email protected] to ask for further financial support for the very large sector of the beauty industry still unable to reopen. Many of these people are facing business closures, redudancies and worse. @CarolineHirons@sharmadeanreid
