HB 298 provides better tools needed to better prevent
maltreatment, neglect and exploitation for our elder population. In 2019 there was a 19% increase of calls due to elder abuse. NASW values Dignity and Worth of a person. Please report. #WKUsocialworkpolicy

Kentucky is one of the highest state in the US for child abuse/neglect. Our KY children need our help. Our children's life's matter. The NASW ethical principles states that social workers recognize the central importance of human relationships. #WKUsocialworkpolicy

Support HB399, this bill would create awareness, provide training, and engage veterans at suicidal risk. Veterans die daily to suicide it is time to put an end to it. Social worker's primary goa is to help people in need and to address social problems. #WKUsocialworkpolicy

Support HB95, this bill would put a cap of $30 on insulin. People should not have to make a decision between insulin and providing for their family. Social workers need to continue to advocate within and outside our agencies for our clients. #WKUsocialworkpolicy

House Bill 384. HB would allow children not to miss breakfast at school. We need to continue to pass policies and legislation that maintains the social safety net related to food security for out children. #WKUsocialworkpolicy
