A New Milestone for BPCL in North-East India

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has successfully commissioned the Matia LPG Bottling Plant in Goalpara, Assam, marking the commissioning of BPCL’s first LPG bottling plant in Assam and the North-East. The occasion was graced by Smt Darshana Chetia, Additional District Commissioner, Goalpara, Assam, as the distinguished dignitary, along with Chief Guests Shri Subhankar Sen, Director (Marketing), BPCL; Shri Dinabandhu Mandal, Executive Director (Engineering & Projects); and Shri T. V. Pandiyan, Business Head (LPG), BPCL.

A key highlight of the occasion was the flag-off of the first packed LPG truck from the Matia Plant, marking the beginning of commercial operations and the plant’s integration into BPCL’s LPG supply chain.

The new facility will strengthen LPG availability and supply infrastructure across Assam and North-East India, enabling reliable supplies, faster turnaround and improved last-mile service while supporting the region’s growing LPG demand. The plant will serve nearly half a million LPG consumers in Assam.

The successful commissioning reflects the collective effort, engineering capability, teamwork and strong commitment to safety demonstrated by BPCL’s Engineering & Projects, LPG and Operations teams, supported by project partners and stakeholders.

@_TPREL_ You people have made a complete joke out of the customer’s problem. It has been almost 2 months, and I have been made to suffer just for getting a single complaint resolved.
This is certainly not the level of service people expect from a trusted name like Tata.

Very disappointed with Tata Power Solar.
Installing a new solar plant seems to be the only priority. But when the system develops a fault, there is no proper after-sales support.
My complaint (No. 01115392) has been registered, yet no one has resolved the issue.
