Today, the other side of the equation: what's the opportunity cost of leaving $USDT idle?

$10,000 $USDT sitting on an exchange:

3 months → $10,000
6 months → $10,000
12 months → $10,000

That's before inflation.

At 10% APY, accrued daily, the same $10,000 would look roughly like this:

3 months → ~$10,250
6 months → ~$10,500
12 months → ~$11,000

Where does the yield come from?

Liquidity is provided to high-volume stablecoin pairs on audited DeFi protocols. Every swap through those pools pays a fee, and those fees generate the return.

Holding $USDT already means holding Tether risk. The question is only whether you're being paid for it.
