@beshramm The purpose of reservation (ie. representation) is served once MBBS seat is granted through reservation. Once all Drs graduate after passing the same exam,further reservation in NEETPG is actually killing merit.

AIR 950. I wanted to take md pediatrics. I would have gotten it easily from SMS jaipur.
But the government decided to slash the seat by >3 times.Yes 3 times!!!

IDK if this is sad or just the India’s method of natural selection. I’ve always been a proponent of weighted reservation for the disadvantaged but un rectified systemic flaws have killed the faint idea meritocracy young doctors had.

Got somewat decent rank in concluded INICET,not thinking abt getting seat as the seats are very limited. That's the general feeling about INICET in most people.
But thanks to reservation policy, the same will be realised after NEET PG too.

Advising UR juniors to check out alternative exams like USMLE/PLAB. Getting a decent rank in NEETPG exam doesn't ensure a seat with 64.5 percent reservation.
